Bofoakwa Tano were held to a 0-0 drawn game by Berekum Arsenal during the final match-day of the Division One League season at the Berekum Golden City Park.
The results means Real Tamale United who won against Unity on Week 30 tops the Zone One table with 65 points – a point more than Bofoakwa Tano.
The Sunyani-based side needed to win the game in order to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League for the first time since they were relegated in 2006/07 but that would not happen as Arsenal damaged their hopes.
