Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Amankona has been named the NASCO Premier League Player of the Month for March after a series of outstanding performances.
Amankona found the back of the net four times in just three matches during the month, including a sensational hat-trick against Accra Lions on Matchday 23. His goal-scoring exploits not only powered Chelsea’s strong run of form but also earned him a NASCO Player of the Match award.
Currently sitting second on the Ghana Premier League goal-scoring chart with 10 goals, the in-form forward has emerged as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers this season.
As part of his prize, Amankona will receive a 42-inch NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
