Ghana’s striker Bernard Tekpetey scored and also provided assist in the Bulgarian First Professional League on Sunday evening for Ludogorets Razgrad against Botev Vratsa.
The Ghanaian forward scored the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after just nine minutes of action with a sweet finish.
Matheus de Paula equalized for the visitors after 17 minutes but Pieros Sitiriou restored the home team’s lead after 36 minutes.
Two minutes later, Tekpetey set up Sitiriou to make it 3-1 with seven minutes to the break for the Green and Whites Eagles.
The second half didn’t produce a single goal as Ludogorets won 3-1 at the end of the match.
The 24-year-old former Schalke 04 man has three goals and two assists to his name this season in the Bulgarian top-flight.
