Ghanaian forward has expressed excitement following his side’s victory over Montana on Sunday evening in the Bulgarian top-flight league.
The Ghanaian international was a delight to watch in the game but unfortunately wasn’t able to hit the back of the net and had to be substituted for Stephane Badji with three minutes to regulation time.
Former Feyenoord forward, Elvis Manu came from the bench to score as Ludogorets Razgrad clinched all three points in the game.
The Ghanaian attacker scored his side’s second goal of the match to propel them to victory after going down very early in the game.
Toni Tasev’s strike in the 2nd minute gave the hosts an early lead before Higinio Marin equalised for the Bulgarian First Professional League champions on the 10th-minute mark.
Marín was later substituted from the match ten minutes after his goal due to an injury and was replaced with Ghana’s Elvis Manu.
Manu after coming on to replace the goalscorer got his name on the score sheet for the Green Eagles as they came from behind to be in a 2-1 lead early in the second half.
Dominik Yankov gave the away team a 3-1 lead when he found the back of the net four minutes to full time.
Ludogorets win takes them to 2nd place on the league table and just two points behind leaders Lokomotiv Plovdiv with one match in hand.
The former Fortuna Dussedorf took to Twitter to express delight.
