Turkish giants Beşiktaş are reportedly keen on signing Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Zubairu from Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Turkish outlet SPORX, the Istanbul-based club have added the 21-year-old to their transfer shortlist and are actively working on a deal to bring him to Vodafone Park. Beşiktaş are said to be preparing a loan offer with an option to buy, as they look to bolster their attacking options for the 2025/26 season.
Zubairu enjoyed an impressive campaign with Partizan Belgrade, making 34 appearances across all competitions. He scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists during the 2024/25 season, catching the attention of several clubs, including Serbian rivals FK Vojvodina.
Despite his standout performances at club level, Zubairu is yet to make his senior debut for the Ghana national team. However, he has previously featured for Ghana’s U20 and U23 teams, and his growing reputation in Europe could soon pave the way for a call-up to the Black Stars.
A move to Beşiktaş would represent a significant step in the youngster’s career, offering him a bigger platform and the chance to compete in one of Europe’s more competitive leagues.
