Nsoatreman FC is set to host Real Tamale United at the Nana Koramansah Park in a Ghana Premier League week 10 clash on Sunday.
After missing the chance to claim the top spot in the Ghana Premier League table, the Nsoatre-based club is determined to secure maximum points in their upcoming match against the Pride of the North.
Having faced consecutive defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight, Coach Maxwell Konadu’s team aims to bounce back to winning form. If they had emerged victorious in their last two games against Great Olympics and Medeama, Nsoatreman would have been leading the league.
However, they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Great Olympics in Accra last weekend and narrowly lost to Medeama in a rescheduled fixture on Thursday. Nsoatreman FC seeks a turnaround in their upcoming fixture against Real Tamale United, who have also struggled in their recent three games.
The Pride of the North secured only one point out of a possible nine, with two losses and a draw in the process. RTU aims for a season turnaround but faces Nsoatreman FC, equally hungry for points to contend for the top spot in the domestic top-flight.
As of now, Nsoatreman FC holds the second position on the table with 16 points, trailing leaders Aduana Stars by two points. Meanwhile, RTU occupies the 14th spot with 11 points after completing nine matches in the season.
