Bibiani Gold Stars Chief Executive Officer Kwasi Adu has been handed a three-match ban and fined GH¢10,000 by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee following his club’s Ghana Premier League match against Accra Hearts of Oak.
The committee found him guilty of entering the restricted inner perimeter without authorisation and verbally assaulting match officials. He was also found guilty of making post-match comments about the officials that brought the game into disrepute.
The three-match suspension takes immediate effect, while the fine must be paid within fourteen days of notification of the decision.
Mr Adu has also been warned that any further misconduct could attract more severe sanctions.
