Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars have officially announced the signing of defender Emmanuel Ankrah as part of their squad reinforcement ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Ankrah joins the Miners from former topflight side Nsoatreman FC, putting pen to paper on a three-year contract that will see him stay at Duns Park until 2028.
The highly-rated defender becomes one of the first additions to the GoldStars squad as they prepare for their maiden CAF Champions League campaign, following their historic league title triumph in the just-ended 2024/25 season.
Club officials have emphasized their ambition to build a formidable side capable of competing on the continental stage, and Ankrah’s arrival is seen as a key move in strengthening their defensive unit.
Several other signings are expected in the coming weeks as Bibiani GoldStars intensify efforts to build depth and quality ahead of a challenging campaign both domestically and in Africa.
