Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars have been drawn against Algerian giants JS Kabylie in the preliminary round of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League.
This will be GoldStars’ first appearance in the competition after clinching the league title on the final day of the season. They will begin their campaign with a home game in Kumasi between September 19 and 21 before traveling to Algeria for the return leg from September 26 to 28.
JS Kabylie, who finished second in the 2024/25 Algerian league just two points behind MC Alger, will pose a tough challenge. The winner of this tie will face either East End Lions or Monastir in the second preliminary round for a place in the group stage.
GoldStars will be aiming to make a strong impression on the continental stage and carry the momentum from their historic league triumph into Africa’s top club competition.
