Ghana Premier League leaders, Medeama Sporting Club will be without the services of two key players in the persons of striker, Amed Toure and Midfield-anchor Richard Agadas Boadu.
The Yellow and Mauves travel to Sogakope to face rejuvenated side Liberty Professionals FC in a dicey game and would have to find a perfect replacement for the two players.
Striker Amed Toure, a former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC tops man picked up an injury in the team’s convincing win over Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs in Tarkwa last weekend and will be unavailable for the big clash on Sunday.
Unlike the injured Toure, Richard Boadu will miss the match due to the fact that he has accumulated three yellow cards and would have to serve a one-match suspension before he can feature in the subsequent games.
Toure has scored five goals in five matches for the Premier League title chases since he joined the club and will be greatly missed on Sunday afternoon when the clash with relegation battlers, Liberty Professionals FC.
Boadu on the other hand has been the most consistent player in the middle of the field this season for Medeama SC and scored a famous winner against Asante Kotoko SC in Obuasi a fortnight ago and is going to be a big blow for coach Yaw Preko especially now that Justice Blay is out of the season.
With these two players absence, the Scientific Soccer Lads would be thinking of managing to beat the leaders to boost their survival quest when they meet on Sunday.
