Tunisian powerhouse Club Africain engage in a world-class international club friendly against French champions Paris Saint-Germain and the top-notch friendly match will be played at the Rades Olympique stadium in Tunis on Wednesday night for the 2017 Ooredoo Trophee des Champions.
PSG arrived in Tunis after some 23 hours of flight from Paris and about 50 000 fans are expected to watch them tonight.
It is important to note that the game against Club Africain will be the first outing of the new year for PSG making the friendly match even more important for Unai Emery and his men as they will be looking forward to kick-off the new year with a good game on an African soil.
For the memories. On 20th January 1989, Club Africain brought PSG to Tunis and played them at the Stade Chedly Zouiten in which PSG won 2-0. So the Tunisian side is known for such top-class games.
The 2017 Trophee Ooredoo des Champions is the first edition of one-off game organized by the global communication company Ooredoo that sponsors both Club Africain and PSG.
President of PSG Nasser Al-Khelaifi is also the president of Ooredoo.
