Birmingham City’s latest January signing, 21-year-old Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman, has expressed his excitement after joining the club on loan from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Osman, who spent the first half of the campaign playing in France with Ligue 1 side Auxerre, joins Blues manager Chris Davies’ squad as the team’s third signing of the January window, following Kai Wagner and Jhon Solis. Known for his speed, athleticism, and direct attacking style, Osman is eager to make an immediate impact.
“I can’t wait to get started,” Osman said. “Birmingham City is one of the big teams in England, and I’m really excited to get on the pitch and make the fans happy. I want to help the team win games, score goals, provide assists, and contribute in any way I can.”
The winger also highlighted the ambition of the club, noting discussions with the manager and sporting director. “The manager has watched a lot of my games. He knows my style of play—I’m a direct winger who likes to attack and use my speed,” Osman added.
Birmingham City, currently in the Championship, will look to boost their attacking options with Osman as they continue their campaign.
