The local national football team, the Black Galaxies, are set to return to Cape Coast on Thursday, 25th August 2022, just four days before the side clashes with Nigeria in the CHAN qualifiers.
The Galaxies easily blew past Benin in their previous CHAN qualifiers encounter, winning 4-0 on aggregate, booking a date with rivals Nigeria in the next qualification round.
The team is currently in Austria where they are expected to camp for a total of seven days as a way of preparing for the Nigeria clash.
The two teams will go head-to-head on Sunday, 28th August 2022. Ghana aim to qualify for the competition after missing out on the last three editions.
