Black Meteors attacker, Issah Abass scored and set up another in his team’s dramatic comeback win in the Croatia top-flight on Sunday evening.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC star, scored the equalizer for HNK Rijeka against HNK Gorica away from home after 43 minutes to restore parity.
After going down 2-1 at the end of the first half, Abass set up Lindon Selahi few seconds into the second half of the match to bring Rijeka back on level terms.
The visitors went ahead to win the dramatically with a 4-3 final score to go top of the league table with 20 points from 10 matches in the league.
The 23-year-old predator finisher has scored five goals in all competitions for the the club he joined on loan from Bundesliga side Mainz 05 and boast of three assists this season together with his 5 goals.
