Ghanaian defender Robin Polley has extended his contract at Dutch top-flight side Ado Den Haag until 2022.
The 21-year-old versatile wing-back penned a two year contract extension with the Yellow and Greens and has been loaned out to second tier side FC Dordrecht in Netherlands.
After playing at JHR, Spartaan ’20 and Feyenoord, Polley joined the promise team of ADO Den Haag in 2017, where the Dutch-born Ghanaian was quickly turned from right winger to right back.
After his positional change at the club the youngster was inspired to a stormy development, which led to his debut in the cup match with OJC Rosmalen and his first professional contract in November 2018.
In the 2019-20 season, he also played twice in the Eredivisie, playing against PSV and Vitesse.
Meanwhile, Polley debuted for Ghana in the Olympic team at the African Championship in Egypt where Ghana failed to snap a ticket for the World events which has been postponed to 2021 due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
In the past six months, Polley played eight matches at FC Dordrecht on loan and scored one goal in the process.
The defender is yet to represent Ghana at the senior level.
