Head coach for Black Meteors (U23) team, Paa Kwesi Fabin has included two new players for Ghana’s friendly games against Japan and South Korea.
The two players were concluded for the trip after the domestic players were denied by their clubs to join the national team.
Striker, Samuel Obeng of Spanish La Liga 2 side Real Oviedo have been called up for the games against the Asian clubs in the international break.
Obeng was a revelation at the 2019 CAF U23 championship held in Egypt despite Ghana losing our on qualification after suffering defeat against South Africa on penalties during the third place playoff.
The 24-year-old striker scored three goals in the La Liga 2 campaign for his team in 36 matches.
Fabin also invited Spanish La Liga side Getafe CF youngster, Sabit Abdulai to link up with the Ghana team for their upcoming games.
The two friendly games are being played by the two Asian teams as a preparation for the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics which was postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
