Ghana’s Black Meteors attacker, Bernard Tekpetey has returned to Bulgarian Champions Ludogorets Razgrad for their pre-season training for the 2021-22 season.
The Ghanaian forward joined the Green Blackand Whites Eagles on a two-year loan deal from Germany Schalke 04 in at the start of last season’s campaign.
Tekpetey has linked up with his teammates for the preparation for their first UEFA Champions League qualifying game against, Belarus Premier League side Shakhtyor Soligorsk on July 7.
Following Schalke’s relegation from the Bundesliga, the Ghanaian striker was expected to rejoin his parent club but has returned to the Bulgarian First Professional League champions to play for the second season running for Ludogorets.
The 23-year-old predator finisher played 25 matches in the league last season for the champions and scored two goals with four assists.
