Ghana’s female U20 national team captain Abdulai Mukarama, has expressed disappointment following her side’s 1-0 defeat to Morocco in an international friendly.
Coach Yusif Basigi’s team were beaten 1-0 by their Moroccan counterparts on Thursday at the Sports Stadium.
Morocco striker Banouk Safa scored the only goal of the game in the 38th minute to give the visitors victory over the Black Princesses.
The former Black Maidens star who captained the team on the day, took to social media to express her disappointment and hoped for a better scoreline on Monday when the two countries play another friendly at the same venue.
The two teams are using the friendly games to prepare for the FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers in 2021.
