Dreams FC and Black Satellite striker Percious Boah has disclosed that he takes inspiration from Crystal Palace star Jordan Ayew.
The promising attacker has been stupendous in the ongoing U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania, scoring 3 three goals for the Black Satellites.
Speaking ahead of the final showdown against Uganda, Boah said that he looks up to the Crystal Palace and Black Stars striker and hopes to emulate him.
“I have never met him personally but one day I hope to meet him and shake his hand when the time is right. I watch him play for the Black Stars and his club too and he really inspires me a lot in the way he plays and what he has achieved in his career. I would like to follow in his footsteps and also play for a big team in the world,” Boah noted.
“It is just a matter of me and putting in the hard work. I am happy with the man of the match award and I know this is going to push me to work more,” he added.
Ghana will be hoping to win its fourth continental when they square off against Uganda in the final on Saturday having won the U-20 Nations Cup on three occasions, 1993-1996 and 2009.
