The Black Satellites are through to the next round of the qualification stage of the 2019 African U20 Championship after beating Algeria 2-0 on Sunday in Cape Coast.
Former U17 star Kudus Mohammed got the opener for the national U20 side in the first half before Ibrahim Sadiq added the second for Ghana in the 47th minute.
After the 0-0 draw in the first leg last weekend, today’s result will see coach Jimmy Cobblah’s side make it into the final stage of the qualifiers.
Ghana could play either Gambia or Benin in a two-legged final qualiying tie scheduled for July.
