The Black Stars have arrived in Port Gentil, Gabon where they will be facing Burkina Faso in the third-place match on Saturday.
The Stars were beaten 2-0 by Cameroon in a semifinals game on Thursday and would be vying for the third position in this year’s AFCON against Burkina Faso.
Ghana would be preparing ahead of the match tomorrow as they hope to at least salvage some pride by wining bronze.
Though Ghanaians were hoping for the ultimate trophy, a win against Burkina Faso would bring some smiles on the faces of some disappointed supporters.
Egypt will battle Cameroon on Sunday with the Pharaoh’s hoping to win their eight title while the Cameroonians will also be aiming at a fifth AFCON title.
