Black Stars defender Nicholas Opoku was in top form in France’s Ligue 2 over the weekend as he excelled for Amiens in their 1-0 victory against Sochaux.
The 25-year-old was a pillar in defense for his side as they clinched their 12th victory of the season.
The former Udinese player started and lasted full 90 minutes of the match.
The victory moved Amiens further away from the relegation zone in the Ligue 2 as the former elite league campaigners are pushing for an appreciable spot before the end of the season.
Opoku has featured in 30 league games for Amiens this season.
