Ghana’s Black Stars shot stopper, Richard Ofori saved a spot kick when his team Orlando Pirates beat bitter rivals Kaiser Chiefs at the FNB stadium.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian goalkeeper produced a great save to help propel his team to a hard earned narrow win to gain bragging rights over their old foes.
Thembinkosi Lorch scored the opener for the home team inside the 38th minute of the match to put the Black and Whites in the lead before the interval.
Seven minutes after the break the Yellow and Blacks were awarded a spot kick but the Ghanaian deputy captain rose to the occasion and saved the penalty to deny Kaiser Chiefs an equalizer.
Siphesihle Ndlovu made it two to Orlando Pirates on the 80th minute of the match but Daniel Cardoso reduced the deficit to one as it finished 2-1 to the Bucs.
