Ghana forward, Joseph Paintsil believes the senior national team, the Black Stars has enough quality to secure qualification to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 2022 World Cup qualifiers were scheduled to commence the qualifiers in June but due to the Covid19, it has been pushed to September later this year.
Ghana plays Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and South Africa in the first round of the qualifiers.
And according to the Genk player, the Black Stars will qualify if they work as a team.
“For me, we have good players and a higher chance of qualifying for the World Cup if we do well,” he told Citi TV.
“We have good players and I think we are going to have a good tournament.
“It all depends on the players and the management, we need to come together and work as a team and go out there to deliver,” he added.
The Black Stars after failing to qualify for the 2018 edition of the FIFA World Cup tournament, will be hoping to this time book a spot in the 2022 Mundial in Qatar.
