Ghana’s Emmanuel Quartsin Gyasi was in action for Spezia Calcio against Kwadwo Asamoah and Alfred Duncan’s Cagliari Calcio on Saturday evening in the Italian Serie A.
The newly invited Black Stars forward played full throttle for his team as they beat Cagliari 2-1 at home to move to 15th on the Serie A table with 29 points from 28 games.
Three minutes after the break, Gyasi broke free on the wings before he whipped in a delicious cross which was headed home beautifully by Roberto Piccoli from the center of the goal area to the bottom left corner to make it 1-0 to Spezia.
Giulio Maggiore made it two to the home team but Gaston Pereiro scored a consolation for the visitors after 83 minutes to set up a frenetic ending to the match.
The match ended 2-1 to Spezia.
The 27-year-old soon-to-be capped Ghanaian forward has four goals, five assists in 28 matches this season for Spezia Calcio in the Italian Serie A.
