The Ghanaians, after suffering a humiliating 0-3 defeat on Friday to Mali woke up from their slumber to beat Qatar 5-1 in a friendly on Monday evening.
Newboy, Tariq Fosu opened the scoring in the first half after 22 minutes when he connected with a rebound cross from Jordan Ayew to put Ghana in front.
One minute from the first-half whistle, Almoez Ali restored parity for the Asian champions heading into the break.
The Ghanaian team came back into the second more stronger than the first half and created numerous chances in the first 15 minutes of the game.
Arsenal new boy Thomas Partey on the 63rd minutes set up skipper Andre Ayew to restore Ghana’s one-goal lead.
