Black Stars snub Jeffrey Schlupp was on target for Crystal Palace against Norwich City FC in the English Premier League on Tuesday afternoon at home.
The Ghanaian was snubbed by Milovan Rajevac upon his return from injury he sustained on international duty ahead of the 33rd CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Ghanaian and Premier League winner scored his team’s third goal as they ended the opening half of the match with a healthy 3-0 lead.
Edsonne Édouard converted a spot kick on the eighth minute mark to put smiles on the faces of the Selhurst Park faithfuls under 10 minutes with a calm finish from 12 yards.
Édouard also set up Jean Philippe Mateta to score the second goal to Palace two clear with a left-footed strike.
Three minutes away from the half time whistle, Schlupp added the third goal of the match to put the hosts 3-0 up before the interval with another Edoaurd assist.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian midfielder has two goals in 13 matches.
