Black Stars striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom scored his first goal of the season for his new club Beitar Jerusalem in the Israeli Ligat HaAl on Monday evening.
The former Red Star Belgrade striker found the back of the net as Beitar whipped their city rivals Hapoel Jerusalem 3-0.
Adi Tamir broke the deadlock of the match to put the away team 1-0 up in the 20th minute with a fine finish.
Boakye-Yiadom made it 2-0 to the hosts in the second half of the match to double the away team’s advantage for the ten minutes into the second period with a very good goal.
His goal was assisted by fellow Ghanaian compatriot Edwin Gyasi as he sent in a cross that was headed in by the Ghanaian striker.
Young defender David Houja sealed the victory for Beitar with his goal in the 67th minute of the encounter.
He has a goal in two games for the Yellow and Blacks this campaign.
