Ernest Asante scores as Omonia Nicosia  demolish AEL Limassol

Ghanaian winger, Ernest Asante was on the score sheet for Omonia Nicosia as they thump AEL Limassol at home in the Cyprus top-flight.

The 31-year-old grabbed the first goal of the match on the 64th minutes of action to put the host 1-0 up after a scoreless opening 45 minutes.

Andronikos Kakoullis scored the second goal for Nicosia after 89 minutes before Eric Bautheac converted a 90th minutes penalty to make it 3-0.

Asante has played four matches in the Cyprus top-flight this campaign and has one assist and one goal to his name.
