Morocco have reportedly withdrawn from the 2023 African Nations Championship tournament after Algeria refused to open its airspace.
The Atlas Lions are the defending champions of the tournament, winning it in 2018 and the most recent one in 2021.
But they may not be defending the crown once again as they will not take part according to Moroccan journalist Izem Anass.
Morocco are in the same Group (C) with the Black Galaxies, Sudan and Madagascar. The tournament will start on January 13.
