The George Amoako led management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has been dissolved with immediate effect.
This is as a result of the expiration of their three year mandate which ended in December, 2019.
This was confirmed on the club’s official twitter handle.
Officials of the club, however, thanked the outgone management for their services and subsequently wished them well in their future endeavours.
George Amoako’s time as Chief Executive Officer of the club saw them win the 2019 Normalisation Committee Special Competition and thereafter made it to the group stages of the 2019/2020 CAF Confederation Cup.
In some days now, the club has made some compelling decisions in inaugurating a new 9-member board which will be headed by Dr. Kwame Kyei.
However, it is unclear when the club will name its new management committee but decision is expected soon as the newly constituted board held its maiden meeting on Tuesday 8th June,2020.
