Black Stars striker Joseph Esso has joined Algerian giants MC Alger from Dreams FC, the club confirmed on Tuesday morning.
The 24-year-old former Accra Hearts of Oak striker has penned a three-year contract with the Algerian club after his first senior team call-up.
Esso bagged 10 goals in sixteen matches for Dreams FC in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League after joining them as free agent at the beginning of the season.
The second top scorer in the Ghana Premier League this campaign was a pivot for coach Maxwell Konadu’s team in Senegal during the WAFU Zone B tournament for home-based players.
Esso gained his first senior call up into the Black Stars team in their recent AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
