Ghana international Kingsley Sarfo has been handed two years and eight month in Prison in Sweden.
The former Malmo FF winger was sentenced to jail on Friday morning by a Malmo District Court for two child rape cases.
The 23-year-old had been in cells for some time now after he was charged with defilement in Sweden.
Although he pleaded not guilty to the allegation levelled against him because he didn’t know the girl was under-aged, there were claims that the 23-year-old has been involved in several sexual activities against under-aged girls since joining Malmo FF.
On Friday morning, a Malmo District Court presided over prosecutor Rikard Darell passed judgment on the former Sirius midfielder as he has been sentenced to two-years and eight month jail sentence.
The young Ghanaian talent was also fined 150,000 Swedish Krona and will be DEPORTED to Ghana after the serve after being found guilty of the rape accusation levelled against him.
Coach Kwesi Appiah handed Sarfo his maiden Black Stars call-up when he was invited for Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda last year but the allegations surrounding him has also halted his invitation to the Black Stars team.
