Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed has just signed a contract for 5 seasons with Belgian giants Anderlecht according to reports by Het Nieuwsblad.
The 18-year old Ghanaian striker scored 8 goals in the 2016 Ghana premier league season and finished 5th in the league with his club.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, the fee involved for the transfer is 400 000 euros. Dauda will however not join the first team immediately. He will be with the U-21 side to continue developing as coach René Weiler continue to search for an experienced striker.
Dauda should have joined the Belgian side in September last year but the transfer window was closed and that delayed the arrival of the teenage attacker until now. He thus becomes the first winter transfer signing for Anderlecht.
