Ghanaian striker, Malik Abubakari has joined Sweden giant Malmö FF from Portugal top-flight side Moreirense, Sportsworldghana.com confirm.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian sharpshooter has been unveiled by the club as their new acquisition for the 2021 Swedes Allsvenskan season.
Abubakari spent last season on loaning at Portugal Secunda Liga side Casa Pia and ended the season as their top scorer in the second tier league in Portugal.
The Ghanaian youngster scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 32 league outings for the Black and Whites side played in the Cup competition three times.
After his stallar performance on loan at the club, Abubakari joined his parent club, Moreirense and has been sold to the Swedes powerhouse.
The youngster penned a three-year deal with another one year extension option as he’s set to begin life in the Swedes top-flight with the record champions.
The Sky-blue and Whites side, and will get the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his career with Malmö FF.
