Asante Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has been ruled out for up to six weeks due to a fractured 4th metatarsal injury and it is likely he could miss the first three league matches of the team of Maxwell Konadu and this is according to Mahyia-based Opemsou Radio.
The 23-year-old picked the injury during the club’s preseason training in Koforidua.
The enterprising midfielder, according to the report will undergo surgery soon for him to return to fitness soon but the club is yet to publicly confirm the huge injury blow.
The Porcupine Warriors will have to rely on the likes of Emmanuel Kayekeh, Emmanuel Sarkodie, Kwame Adom Frimpong in the central midfield role.
