Breaking News: Liberty Professionals captain George Amoako joins Al Ahly

Liberty Professionals FC captain George Amoako has joined Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi for the upcoming season, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

Al Ahly Benghazi completed the signing of the Ghanaian midfielder Amoako for an undisclosed fee on Monday, 20th September.

The 22-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the option to extend based on performance with the the Libyan powerhouse.

The central defensive midfielder had a made 21 appearances for the Dansoman-based club but could not stop the team from being relegated for the first time in the club’s history.
