Ghanaian Midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has signed a permanent deal with Belgian side RSC Anderlecht ahead of the 2021/2022 season as exclusively reported by our outfit last month.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate joined the Purple and Whites from Salzburg on a year loan with an option to make the deal permanent based on the output of the young lad.
Anderlecht, having been impressive with the Ghanaian international’s talent and performance, have triggered €2.5m his purchase option to make the deal permanent as reported by Het Nieuwsblad.
Ashimeru is expected to sign a four-year deal.
The 23 year old, made 11 league appearances for the club, scoring one goal to his name.
