Reports from the manhyia Palace indicates that the owner and life patron of Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will not renew the mandate of the Board of Directors and the Management of  the club following its expiration at the end of last season.

Both the BoD and Management have failed to steer affairs of the club to the expectation of the numerous Fabulous fans across the for the past three years and as a way of registering his displeasure, the wise King has opted against the renewal of their mandate.

According to a statement from Manhyia, the Asantehene has received both the written report and the statement of account from the BoD.
