Breaking News : Senegal’s 2002 World Cup hero Pape Diouf has died in France

We have just heard the sad news that former Senegalese football international Pape Bouba Diop has just passed away in France after a long illness.

Bouba Diop was a big part of the 2000 generation of Senegal national football team and stood out at the 2002 World Cup by scoring the tournament’s first goal in the massive Senegal’s victory over France.

He died this Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 38 in France.
