Following Samuel Sukah’s controversial decision to have awarded a penalty to Accra Hearts of Oak against Asante Kotoko in the match day 8 of the Ghana premier league, the Referee review committee of Ghana football association have met and come out with findings stating Sukah’s decision was right.
The review committee of the GFA met on friday after gathering all evidence for a relook of the incident that caused for Sukah’s decision.
According to the review committee, after a thorough playback of the incident from the GFA’s cameraman’s footage, the ball strucked on the hand of Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams on the 85th minute of the game in the 18 yard box.
Before the meeting many had expected a retrospective action by the football association to have sanctioned the referee who handled the game.
