Brian Amofa joins Belfort

French-born Ghanaian midfielder Brian Amofa has joined national league side ASM Belfort.

Amofa, 27, moves to the French fourth-tier club on a two-year deal after ending his contract with Les Herblers VF.

The experienced enforcer is expected to help Belfort secure qualification to the third-tier in the coming season.

Amofa previously played for clubs including Strasbourg and Swiss outfit FC Sion earlier on in his career.

Born in Strasbourg to Ghanaian parents, Amofa hold both Ghanaian and French passport but is yet to represent any of them at any level.
