Dutch-born striker of Ghanaian parentage Brian Brobbey has hinted that he wants to stay at Ajax Amsterdam.
The 18-year-old striker was locked in talks with Ajax in June this year but an agreement could not be reached for an extension with just a year left on his current contract.
The teenage sensation has hinted that he wants to stay at Ajax as talks have already started again concerning a fresh contract.
“I can only say that it will be okay, because I want to stay,” the 18-year-old striker said opposite NH News.
“The contract will be signed soon, yes.”
“I do my best at Jong Ajax and my job is to score goals here, then I will see for sure. I have to let my feet speak with goals.”
“I have a dream which is to play for the main team.” He added.
Brobbey has spent ten years at Ajax and has netted over 100 goals for them in the various age groups.
He is represented by renowned FIFA player agent Mino Raiola.
