Brighton and Hove Albion youngster Tariq Lamptey is in ecstacy after being handed first Ghana call-up by Coach Otto Addo for Black Stars upcoming international friendlies.
The Ghanaian youngster has been given a chance to shine with the Stars after switching his nationality from England to play for Ghana.
He has expressed how excited he feels to be handed a debut Ghana call-up ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.
He’s expected to make his debut later this month as Ghana takes on Brazil and Nicaragua respectively in a Pre-World Cup friendly matches.
“I’m happy that everything is completed with FIFA and I’m able to play for Ghana. I thank God for giving me this opportunity, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.”
