English born Ghanaian youngster Tariq Lamptey could pen down a new contract with Brighton & Hove Albion after talks reached an advanced stage on Sunday.

Sportsworldghana.com understands that the English Premiership side are ready to pay Lamptey a weekly wage of 50,000 Pounds in the new three-year deal.

Current, Lamptey is earning between 10,000 to 20,000 Pounds and the new wage increment is a means to ward off European Champions Bayer Munich who have made a 20 Million Pounds bid for him.
