English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have handed a chance in their Under 23 side to Ghanaian teenager Odel Offiah.
The 18-year-old central defender was one of the brightest spots in the Under 18 Premier League last season where he made 29 appearances for Brighton scoring one goal and providing two assists and he has now being promoted into the Under 23.
Offiah who is highly rated at the Brighton Academy is expected to play a key role in the club’s Premier League 2 campaign this coming season after they finished in the middle ranks in the 2020/2021 competition.
Offiah was born in Camden to Ghanaian parents but is yet to play for Ghana or England at any level.
