Ajax Amsterdam manager Erik ten Hag has said that Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey has all the qualities Ajax would want to have in their team after his impressive show against Willem II on Thursday night in the Dutch Eredivisie.
The Ghanaian international was on target and also provided an assist for Ajax as they beat thrashed Willem II at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
The 18-year old attacker who is currently being chased by German giants Borussia Dortmund came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace Noussair Mazraoui and quickly established himself in the game to register his name on the scoresheet a minute later.
After the 3-1 victory, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag once again discussed the situation of Brobbey, who is yet to extend his expiring contract at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
“We really want to keep him. He can sign a nice contract here, a bright future. He showed that today. He is young, eager and has all the qualities you want for an Ajax striker.”
