A host of German Bundesliga clubs are monitoring Ghanaian international Kevin Danso and could make an offer for his signature in the summer transfer window, footballghana.com reports.
The Austrian-born defender of Ghanaian descent joined English Premier League side Southampton at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season for a season-long loan spell from German side Augsburg.
Though the English Premier League club has an option to sign him permanently this summer, they have decided to wave that option. Hence, the center-back who can play as a right-back is expected to return to Augsburg when the EPL is concluded.
According to checks, Kevin Danso’s return to Germany is imminent with more than two clubs reportedly interested in his services for the next season.
Checks have revealed that the likes of Werder Bremen, FC Köln, Hamburg SV, and VfB Stuttgart are all interested and will contact Augsburg for the availability of the defender when this season ends.
This season Kevin Danso has made just 6 appearances for Southampton in the English Premier League and has 1 assist to his name.
