League 1 side Burton Albion have part ways with English-born Ghanaian striker Kwame Thomas.
Thomas, 24, joined the Brewers on a four-month deal as a free agent in February but could not live up to expectation to warrant an extension and now he has been released.
The lanky attacker made only two appearances for Burton Albion in the league and manager Nigel Clough was not impressed with his performance.
He has played for lots of teams including Derby County, Coventry City, Blackpool, Notts County and others but has not been able established himself though he was considered a great talent earlier on in his career.
Thomas was born in Nottingham to a Ghanaian father and an English mother and has already featured for the Three Lions Under 20 team.
