Ghana Black stars coach C.K Akonnor says he is happy with the development has made during his tenure as the head coach. The coach spoke to the media ahead of the game against West African neighbours Ivory Coast.
“We are in the progress as the team is developing,” he said.
“This are becoming exciting and hopefully this continues.”
The former Black Stars player also asked for the media as well as Ghanaians to get behind the team despite the treatment they have received.
“We need your support. Without you, it will be difficult for us. We ask that you are positive despite everything that we have gone through,” He concluded.
The Stars are preparing for their second friendly game during the break. They play host to Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast stadium on Saturday.
